High Five for Friday!

One. This whole working out thing is really... working out.  For real, though.  The hardest part is dragging my butt out of bed and turning on the DVD every morning, but after that, it's smooth (and sweaty) sailing.  Also, I was telling a coworker about the 30-Day Shred, so he went out and bought 30-Day Ripped, and at the end of the month we're going to do a swap.  I'm not even through this workout program yet and I'm already excited about the next one!

Two. Ryan and I finally got to go out on our Valentine's Day dinner date.  Two weeks late.  We went to the Melting Pot and it was SO. GOOD.  I'd only had dessert there once, and Ryan hasn't been there in about ten years, so we did the whole four-course shebang, and I swear to God I was still full when I woke up the next morning.

Three. Sneaking ninja pictures of Ryan.  He is so camera shy it's not even funny.  When I am able to snap a picture of him in which he isn't trying to paparazzi-block the camera, it's a good day.  My goal is to get one of the man smiling.  You'd never be able to tell from pictures, but the man actually smiles a lot.

Four. Bear.  He's pretty much my favorite part of life.

Five (not pictured). I'm sponsoring two blogs this month, Lovely Little Things and Living In Yellow. Jessica and Erin are wonderfully funny and down to earth.  I've been reading both of their blogs for a while now and they really make you feel like you're having a face-to-face, hilarious conversation when you read what they have to say.  I'm so excited to work with them on taking my own little corner of the interwebs to the next level.

  1. #1...that's such a good idea! I have a work out buddy who lives in NC (she's moving back to FL in a few months...yay!) and we swap digital workout DVDs so that we don't have to pay for as many...good buddy system ;)

And THANK YOU so much for the shout out! I'm incredibly excited to have you on my sidebar this month, pretty lady!
