Sorry for the long absence, friends.  Life's been busy with weekday date nights, girls' nights out, boat parades, rescuing giant Amazonian beetles from the restaurant, growing flowers, birthdays, organizing, yoga, and wedding stuff.

It's been a crazy, fulfilling month.  Which means I have zero dollars to my name right now.  Yeah, life is good. :)

Progress on the Wedding Front!

Bridesmaids' dresses have been found and purchased!

Super excited. :)

Stamped

For our save-the-dates, I decided to purchase a hand-carved stamp from the Etsy shop Brown Pigeon.

Shop owner Meagan Lewis was a dream to work with and I'm now eagerly awaiting my custom stamp!

After stamping a million save-the-dates, the stamp will be a lovely keepsake and reminder of my and Ryan's first years together. :)

Dilemma

Ok so I thought the first mock-up of our invitations were nice, but a little boring.

So I spent about eight collective hours in GIMP swearing and growling and font-downloading until I came up with this:

Ignore the fact that when compressing something to a .jpeg it gets all pixelated and crappy looking.

Of course, after I labored and aligned like a madwoman, Ryan has proclaimed he doesn't like this and likes the first one better.

BUT his opinion doesn't count (okay it does), so I'm putting it up to a vote!

So, which one do you like? Option A or Option B?

After a few hours of hair-pulling frustration (and a few well-placed swear words), I've finally gotten our wedding invitations designed!

Sorry, I'd like to include our full names, wedding location, social security numbers, and all that crap, but there are weirdos out there.

Come September, I'll be wearing this
